Motivators & Wedding Bells
Hi guys! Happy Sunday! I’m sure you’re all not too excited about tomorrow being Monday and back to the grind. School starts up again for me tomorrow and my schedule will officially be insane. A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do, right? ;D
Motivators
Thanks for your responses to my “who or what motivates you” question posed in yesterday’s post! I must admit, I am surprised by some of the answers, inspired by all, and moved by the photos I’ve received. Please keep them coming. The more I think about the question, the more I realize the answer is really not as easy as might seem at first glance. When I asked my mom what motivates her, she had a gigantic list of things and people that contribute to her motivation in various aspects of her life. In other words, what motivates her to go to the work is starkly different from what propels her to go for daily walks. I would *love* if you would think about who/what motivates you in various aspects of your life and respond in the comments on the original post. I think one of the keys to preventing a slump is keeping our motivators in front of our sight (maybe literally?).
Wedding Bells

I have so much pre-wedding stuff to do today in the span of a few hours! (Not my own wedding, guys! My older bro is getting married today!). My bro is marrying his sweetheart of 8 years! It’s funny because we can gauge how old their relationship is by how old our little Cody, below, is. Their first date was also around her birthday.

Giving her paw for love.
I have gotten to that age, guys. I was warned about this age by t.v. shows like Friends and by older girlfriends growing up. It’s that age when all of your friends start dropping like flies getting hitched. It was a fear-based tale as if marriage was a plague you’d catch or at least be peer-pressured into following. Tee-hee. No pressure here! Yet. Do you guys remember that age? Or maybe you’re there too, or about to be there?

When my sister got married, she was pregnant. I was happy for her, but to be honest, it was such a funny sight to see her all dressed up and her belly sticking way out there. I was in the front row and I just started laughing and laughing… I couldn’t stop! My sister saw me and started laughing and the preacher caught on too. The groom wasn’t too happy with me. Haha.
Congrats to your brother!!
