You Asked About My Fitness, I Answer

Hey guys!

A couple of you asked if I’ve been keeping up with my fitness these days since I’ve been posting so much about holiday gorging. Well, basically, I’ve been more inclined to keep up with the Kardashians than with the treadmill, so there you have it. Wish I could be a strong role model who never deviated from the track, who never wavered under the self-imposed pressure to eat, drink and be merry (while sitting on my a**), but, alas, ho ho ho

p.s. Yes, I’m sick. No, it’s not the H1N1. Yes, I would like to sing “My Sticky Shoe” like phlegmy Phoebe from Friends.

lady lady lady – you balancing school is tough enough! Push through this okay? Activity needs to be part of our regular life – I’m struggling right there with ya! I believe in you, I know you can do this!

santa clause? please – honey you are one of the sexy elves and don’t you forget it! sometimes our body thrives on “down time” when I ceased doing cardio all together I actually ended up losing MORE weight. Our body’s are crazy machines and don’t convince yourself that just because you’ve laid off for a few weeks that you’re not succeeding. You are busy busy girl!

on a happier note — I do really appreciate the way in which you embrace your beautiful “jolly curves” .. you are such a positive voice for healthy body image, Annabel :) thank you for that!

Love you lots and lots!!

We all slack off at times. The key is getting back on track. You know what you need to do. As long as you are maintaining your weight and are comfortable with what you are doing.

I don’t necessarily see anything wrong with weighing once a day. That’s what I do.

I am not anyway near an intuitive eater either! My intuitive self wants to be at 250 pounds :D

Hey Annabel! So sorry you are not feeling your best & sounds like a lot of mental stuff too! It is hard working, going to school, & exercising for sure. I think though that you know deep down that if you get off for this long, it is really hard to get back. As long as your bod lets you & it is not a body fever/flu thing, you may feel OK if it is just a cold & above the neck stuff, to do a light workout AND it might make you feel better! Sweat out some crap!

Yes, food is 70%++ of the weight loss battle but exercise is important too SO I hope you are able to get back into that & get the mental stuff back on track. Make yourself a promise to at least take a walk if you are feeling well enough.. even at a school break.

I weigh myself each day so… this is an individual thing.. but let your clothes tell you the real truth.. how are they fitting?

Take care of yourself & that includes making healthy choices to make you feel better. Hang in there!

Methinks a “strong role model” is someone who’s fallen down, dusted herself off, cussed a little, and got back to pursuing her goals. Someone who never makes a misstep is /boring./

Searching for recipes landed me on your blog. hah! No kidding. I don’t remember what recipe I was looking for but I soon discovered your balanced approach to keeping fit. This post I can relate to bc I also have not exercised for 11 days and man! the guilt that hovers over me I try to ignore. I look forward to more reading on your blog.

You must mean the H1N1… Being sick sucks. William has a small cold too. Hope you feel better soon.

I think we’ve all been there–but the lapses make it that much more satisfying to be back on track again. And all it takes is one good day and you’re back on track. Good luck!

Bella, you are too cute! Love the vlog!
You’ll get back into it when you can. If you continue to balance your eating, then you’ll be okay! The exercise will be there when you’re ready.
