ha! i took my mom to Disneyland for her birthday and we stuffed ourselves at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen outside the park – not exactly diet friendly, but hey, on your BIRTHDAY you get a free pass Although it wasn’t MY birthday …. look how i try to rationalize this …

I say your birthday is the absolute free day, as well as race days. At amusement parks I try to go for the lesser of the evils without getting something that’s so plain that it makes ME cranky, but also realize that I AM going to be getting a good workout by walking (the hubby mapped our last waterpark adventure at 5+ miles) so I don’t worry too too much.

Sounds like you had a great time! I love Disney! We actually went to Disneyworld for our honeymoon.

You can eat healthy there if you want. It is hard with a celebration/vacation mentality, but tempering it is the key.

What a great bday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Course you know I live near Dland too so I have been alot! I sneak in my own protein bars & then find the fruit & stuff!

=D looks like you had fun. my sister has gone to d-land so many times so she’s like, just eat churros all day- it’s cheap. LOL.

hahah i haven’t been to a theme park in while, but i guess i would bring in larabars for myself. =D
