Progresso Soup Give-Away

Hey guys! You know what goes well with a cold day and an effort to fit into your “skinny” jeans? Soup! If you’re trying to eat more healthily, low-calorie soup can be a great option — it’s filling and often a source of vegetables, which are great things!  That’s why I’m stoked to offer you guys a chance to win the following “SOUPer You Debut” gift pack from Progresso Soups that includes 15 cans of several different varieties of the Progresso Light and 100 Calorie Soups, a digital jump rope that keeps track of jumps and calories burned, and a Progresso soup mug.*

All of the Progresso Light and 100 Calorie soups are under 100 calories per serving (there are 2 servings per can). For a list of all of the Progresso Light and 100 Calorie soups, check out this page (and sort accordingly). Please note that if you have any specific dietary requirements/choices, you should read the ingredients lists carefully. When I reviewed all the ingredients lists (yes, I have spare time now that I’m on break and I choose to use it as I please lol), I noticed only one vegetarian and vegan soup — the Vegetarian Vegetable with Barley.

I will choose a winner on Friday, January 8, 2010 via random number generator. All entries must be received by 11:59, PST, on January 7th. To enter please leave a comment telling me either your New Year’s resolution or favorite soup.

If you don’t win, no worries, you can check out the Progresso Souper You page here for a $1 off three Progresso soups coupon as well as a chance to win a trip to NYC.

Good luck!

<3,

The Cranky One

*Please note: *steps on soap box* In accordance with FTC guidelines (and the little angel perched on my shoulder), Progresso Soups has provided the information on the contents of the gift pack and the picture of the prize pack, and will be sending out the gift pack to the recipient who wins as per the random generator number I use. Progresso gift pack is free of charge.

Two of my new years resolutions are to make my own bread and make my own Indian food, though they will probably have to wait until the summer since when I return from abroad :o

I don’t generally eat tinned soup, except for Campbell’s tomato, and that on rare occasions, but I do make my own with tons of vegetables and whatnot, so this would be a good opportunity for progresso to gain a new client, if I’m sufficiently impressed with their product. ;-)

I made a bunch of small resolutions, generally along the lines of “get more organized.” and ways to go about doing that, rather than “get more organized” they were broken down into smaller, more manageable items, like keeping a weekly calendar and allotting specific times to spend with friends.

My resolutions/goals are to eat better, get a better wardrobe and to truly try to be more patient!

I did a whole blog entry about my resolutions, here, but in brief: get back on the diet after the holiday hiatus, step out of my comfort-zone a bit with exercise, spend more one-on-one time with my husband, and make more time for my friends.

I have many new year’s resolutions, but the most important one is to become truly healthy and sane. It’s been a long goal and I really hope to achieve it this year! :)
