Truly inspiring, i am soon to be vegan and i have been doing all the research i can to get a better understanding of it. I am from the middle east and vegetarianism is very scarce here in fact it is non existent i want to try and be part of a change in this region since the meat eating industry is huge here and animal rights are not even looked at which saddens me because as humans we lack compassion.

I wish you all te best and i want you to know that you have truly inspired me into taking another step closer to the vegan world. thank you

Hello, i applaud your change in lifestyle to be strictly vegetarian. i am a father of three and sometimes struggles wit what to give them to eat, to keep them interested. The food i have seen right here seems very delicious. I haven't reached that far as yet , i still have eat meat, but trying to head in the direction of a full vegetarian. But even with that , there is the issues of all the pesticides etc that is used to grow these fruits and vegetables. Going totally organic is so expensive. About two years ago i was introduced to wheatgrass. I know this is not a new product but the company that manufactures this wheatgrass has patented a way not to grown it in soil so that they are able to utilize the root as well which has alot of nutritional value. their product is 100% organic and has won a number of international awards for their wheatgrass.

I have started on the journey to cutting out meats and going to fish and then the next step, because fish has it own issues with it as well.

Feel free to check out my website and feel free to contact me at my email above. To all the mothers , a very Happy Mothers Day. May god bless you all

Love the interview. My favorite part is hearing about how things don't always turn out right, because they don't in my kitchen either.

Grrrrr now I just went through the entire recipe index at Happy Herbivore and am going to feel compelled to make about a dozen of those dishes in the next week. Thanks a lot.

Hehe. Great interview! And seriously, those recipes look AMAZINGLY tasty. And it's nice to know the experts have cooking disasters, too :D I love cooking.
