Jack Kerouac’s On the Road
It’s been a great weekend, Jack.

“Isn’t it true that you start your life a sweet child believing in everything under your father’s roof? Then comes the day of the Laodiceans, when you know you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, and with the visage of a gruesome grieving ghost you go shuddering through nightmare life” (On the Road, 106).
Who is your favorite author? Your favorite book?

American Gods by Neil Gaiman.
“Gods die. And when they truly die they are unmourned and unremembered. Ideas are more difficult to kill than people, but they can be killed, in the end.”
I love books….favorite book and author, too difficult to pinpoint. Some faves are the LOTR trilogy, The Hunger Games, The Alchemist, …and of course “silly” books , like from Sophie Kinsella.
Nice blog.
That could be a very long list. Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, The Book Thief be Marcus Zusack, East of Eden by Steinbeck…so many…. Check out my Shelfari bookshelf on my sidebar if you ever need a good book recommendation.
