I’ve been doing a lot of running and I love it. I remember telling Kate, one of the fitness instructors, at Green Mountain that a while ago (maybe a year ago?), I had stopped running due to injury and had found it so hard coming back to it. Coming back after a break, I was noticeably slower and it was incredibly tough to run my normal 6-mile route. I remember that half way through that first run back I told myself, “you’re amazing! way to go!” The next time, I did the same. It’s been a year or so and I still, to this day, congratulate myself at the 3-mile mark without consciously trying to. It’s proof that you can make positive affirmations habits ![]()

hey! you should try fitocracy to track your workouts
it’s fun and easy and they have a virtual rewards system for different kinds of exercise… (not saying this cause I’m promoting it or whatever… I just found it helped me both track my workouts and also motivate me when i’m behind).
also, I’m so impressed with all your running! I’ve been doing lots of yoga lately(about an hour every day) but I haven’t done much cardio recently : /
