Vegan Juice Bar Opening in Long Beach

Anyone who has ever encountered me can glean this much in an instant: I freakin’ love Long Beach. yes, I plan on living here forever.

And, now, I have yet another reason to feel pride in the LBC.

Opening this Monday at the Long Beach Marketplace (where Golden Spoon was): Nekter Juice Bar, a franchise known for its “fresh pressed green juice blends, raw vegan smoothies, the highest quality Acai bowls and specialty concoctions that are sweet to taste but loaded with healthy low sugar ingredients.”

This will be Nekter Juice Bar’s third location (the other two are in the OC). While I’m not completely sold on the benefit of drinking our fruits & veggies as opposed to eating them, this is an awesome alternative to Jamba Juice and certainly an incredible “fast food” alternative! Yay for Long Beach bringing in more vegan options! Last year, Long Beach also welcomed the Long Beach Vegan Eatery, so it’s a great time to be vegan and in Long Beach!

From the press release: “Acclaimed architectural firm, Urban Arena, turned the former Golden Spoon location into a naturalist’s dream using Redwood, a soft color palette and curved accents to customize the interior of the newest Nekter Juice Bar. Through Nekter’s fresh approach, all natural products and ideal location, the brand aims to resonate with the healthy and active community of Long Beach as they have with locals in Orange County.”

Long Beach’s Nekter Juice Bar is located at 6467 Pacific Coast Highway, Long Beach, California, 90803 and will be open seven days a week with hours of operation Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
